Twilight Fire & Illusions offers Missouri Shooter’s Certification Training

Spring 2012 Class  - Saturday, April 21, 2012

This is a full-day course approved by the Office of the State Fire Marshal of Missouri for individuals seeking a license to conduct display fireworks shows in the state of Missouri or those simply interested in learning more about display fireworks.

The morning session explains and discusses NFPA 1123 and emphasizes the importance of safety at all times.  Upon completion of this session, a written test will be administered.  The afternoon session is a ‘hands on’ exercise for all registrants to set up and hand fire pyrotechnics and will include several safety demonstrations.  After successful completion of both sessions and the written exam, a certificate will be awarded to each registrant.  There is no product demonstration at this class.

8:30  -   9:00          Registration

9:00  -   9:30          Introductions

9:30  – 12:30          Indoor portion of class

12:30  –  2:00         Lunch Break (Lunch will be provided)

2:00  -   3:00          Written test

3:00  -   4:00          Test answers reviewed and open discussion

4:00  -   5:00          Outdoor hands on safety & setup training

Dinner Break

7:00 or Sunset        Hands on product firing; safety and open discussion*

*Post show safety review and related discussions will occur upon completion of display.
